Whitland Classic Motor Club offers a warm welcome to anyone interested in any types of vehicle.
Today we went on our "drive it day" run .. Organised by Tony . It was a great route heading out of Whitland to red roses towards pendine then across to Amroth then via some back roads to kilgetty , down the a477 off at Redberth then Criss crossing towards lamphey and Stackpole . Then out across castle Martin and fresh west and then a pit stop at Angle bay. Then out of Angle to Pembroke and Carew , The quay , Jefferston and final destination at the begelly arms kilgetty for an enjoyable Sunday lunch .
Ten cars met on a lovely sunny evening for our first Chip Run of the year. We headed north through Cwmfelin Boeth on through Henllan Amgoed before continuing on minor roads with little traffic to Meidrim. We then went on the B4229 to Trelech before joining the road towards Boncath & Crymych and Tegryn .Turning towards Llanfyrnach we went through Rhos Llyn and then after passing Maengwyn Hir, a site we visited in September 2022, we continued on to Blaenwaun and eventually dropping down through Llangynin to St. Clears where we enjoyed our fish and chips in George's Chip Shop.
Member Alf was up in Poppit sands today for the car meet and has passed on some photos . By the looks of it ,it was a good turn out and a good mix of vehicles and being dry and sunny always helps.😎.
